April Mappie Announced!
My mom always used to say, better late than never and boy was she right! Today, we’re proud to announce April Mappie Winner! Admittedly it’s a little late, but trust me the wait was well worth it because this map is awesome! Ever been stuck trying to figure out how far along you are on a project? Of course you have! Well this month’s winning map can help with that. It’s a great template to help those working on projects stay on top of what’s most important.
So without further ado, this month’s Mappie goes to… Rick Hamilton for his Project Status template!
Well done, Rick!
We caught up real briefly to learn a little bit about the person behind this month’s awesome map.
Q: Where are you from?
I was born and up in Mid-Michigan – Grew, moved to California and currently live in Brussels, Belgium.
Q: What do you do?
I am a Vice President for Cisco Systems in the Services team.
Q: How do you use MindManager?
I use it for many tasks. I use it to keep track of my “Radar” stuff – things I need to think about, accomplish, or address. I use MindManager with my teams for meetings, project status updates etc. Lastly, I love using it to organize my thoughts for Power Point presentations and for keeping track of customer issues and engagements.
Q: Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
Q: What is your dream occupation?
To fly a G650 for a living.
Q: What is your life motto?

Q: How does it feel to win a Mappie?
I don’t win much so it feels pretty darn good! I’ve been a user of Mindjet since at least 2000 – so it’s about time I won something.
