Wow ‘Em Into Giving You That Job!
So you’ve just wrapped up an interview and you’re thinking it went pretty well—in fact, you’re pretty sure you’re on the verge of actually getting the job. However, given today’s competitive business climate, you’re smart enough to also know that you can’t count your chickens just yet.
We’ve all been in this situation before, right?
Here’s what a Mindjet applicant did to seal the deal.  Instead of merely sending a thank you note he sent a simple but powerful thank you video (he was applying for learning services) using MindManager as the foundation.
Take a look.
A simple, powerful idea. I thought it was novel, personal and well suited for the job he was applying for.
As for the applicant, Trent Thompson? He started last Monday as our new Education Services intern.  He’ll be creating videos on tips, tricks and product features.  You’ll soon be viewing his work on learning services center.

Great idea but I think taking it one step farther in order to get the interview in the first place is not a bad idea either. In other words making a video to send in an email as an introduction to yourself.

To send a thank-you video of mind-map after being interviewed about MindManager is very smart. It shows you are willing to learn, take initiative and are really interested in the subject and in the job. Good work!
The map itself could be more attractive though – IMHO
    Good luck!

I hear ya.  It shows, as you mention, great initiative and just the fact the he used a map (a first time effort for him) was pretty good on my end.
