UPDATE: As an added incentive to give us valuable feedback that will improve Maps for That I am going to be giving away software. If you submit feedback or an improvement idea that is then implemented, you will get one (1) free copy of MindManager for Windows or Mac. What are you waiting for, get out there and tell us what to fix.
(Editor’s note: The contest is over and was a great success. We’ve had lots of great submissions and are working on updated MapsForThat! based on your suggestions! All winners have been notified via email. Thank you to everyone that submitted an idea!)
After the recent update to Maps for That some have you might have noticed that there is now a prominent feedback link in the upper right corner of the site. I wanted to take some time to explain what this is and how to get the most out of our new feedback mechanism. As part of our initiative to make sure that we are listening to our customers, we are currently running this pilot on Maps for That. This will provide you a way to give us ideas and for us to then comment and have a dialogue about your suggestions. Now I know that many of you will want to give suggestions on MindManager and other products, but this is just a pilot for Maps for That and depending on how this pilot goes we will roll out this forum to other Mindjet properties.
Enough about that, here is how to get the most out of the new feedback forum on Maps for That. In the upper right corner of the screen you will see the Feedback link next to the Sign In and Register links:
After clicking the link you will be prompted to either sign-in to Maps for That or if you are already signed in you will be shown a widget displaying the top ideas people have submitted.
To submit an idea or to explore the forum further click the link to go to the forum. From here you have a few different options. You can submit your own idea in the yellow suggestion box or you can browse the ideas that are in the forum and vote and comment. Now voting is where the real power of this forum comes in. This is where you, the users, can show us what you think are the most important ideas you or others have submitted. You have the option of choosing 1, 2 or 3 votes to signify your importance.
You have 10 total votes to disperse in total so make sure that what you are voting on is important. You will get your votes back for every idea that is completed and you can also reallocate your votes whenever you want.
Giving us your feedback on how to make Maps for That better is as simple as that. This is a community for all of you so get out there and tell us what you want to make it better and we can tell you what we will be adding.
