alternatively, the map part folders have a 'search' map part that lets you search on topics and visualize the results directly in the map. Each visualized result has a hyperlink too which can be opened in MindManager's browser. Make sense?

If you are in MM8 for Windows there is a tab on the right side of the interface called map parts. Select that tab and then under the Web Services folder you will see the different search engines. Click on the one you wish to add to your map and it will be added.

You can drag links from your broswer directly onto a topic or add them via the ribbon toolbar or using the keyboard shortcut CTRL+K. In MindManager 8, a hyperlink can open within MindManager in the embedded browser. Or, alternatively, the map part folders have a 'search' map part that lets you search on topics and visualize the results directly in the map. Each visualized result has a hyperlink too which can be opened in MindManager's browser. Make sense?
