A feature I really miss in the MAC version is the ability to fit & balance map from the right click menu. I do fit & balance all the time and need to move to the menu bar to do so.n

I am using MM on WIN as well as MAC. The version for WIN is far better than the MAC version, but the MAC version is usable. The big advantage is the ability to use the same files in both environments. My primary work tool is MAC, and I normally start a MindMap in this environment. When exporting I open WIN on my MAC and do the export in the WIN version.

I have tried other MM products, but no come close to Mindjet.

When is a new release of MM 8 for MAC planned and what new features can we expect?

Yes, you're maps should all work on your Mac. There are a few features that will show up as read-only / unavailable b/c they're not enabled on the Mac (e.g. display excel range, outlook integration, database integration). In my experience, the majority of our users do not take advantage of these differences and have no problems with the switch.

Hi,
PC user that went to Mac. MM favourite application, bought the Mac version from the same reseller that sold me the windows version. They knew me but didn´t tell me about the differences. Had a big fight, because I didn´t want to pay for the poor mac-version (finally paid). Question: Will Mac 8 have the same features as the PC-version? Today I run the PC-version on my mac (VM-Ware). I really, really wait for getting rid of everything that reminds me of windows. Please tell me I can through MM8 för windows and buy the new Mac MM. Peter
