Thanks to everyone who attended today’s webinar, Using Mindjet MindManager with David Allen’s Getting Things Done Methodology. As soon as the recording is available, I’ll repost this blog with the link to the recording. It was a pleasure to share with you my practices and also put into practice a presentation approach & style that I picked up at Presentation Camp SF. Would love your feedback!
As promised, here’s are links to the GTD resources that I referenced in the webinar:
- Getting Things Done with MindManager (slideshow)
- Getting Things Done with MindManager (recorded webinar link) (updated 4/22/2009)
- Map Your World – This LIFE Map template includes your GTD Horizons of Focus, Weekly Review and Mind Sweep components. Customize this map dashboard to suit your own needs!
And, here are some of the other items I mentioned:
-
Idea Mapping by Jamie Nast is a great starting place to get a hang of the concept of mapping for personal and business success.
-
Hamster Revolution: How to manage your email before it manages you by Mike Song, Vicki Halsey, and Tim Burress. I apply some concepts from this book to systematically organize emails & my PC files. I hook them both into my dashboard maps as needed.
-
David Allen – Best Kept Secrets for Personal and Team Productivity webinar can be found in Mindjet’s recorded webinar archive.
