Stewart - thanks for your suggestion. I just sent an email to you asking for further clarification. If you could post here or email me directly, I'd love to learn more about what you're sharing.

Thanks,

Dear MindMappers:

Here's a suggestion for a new killer mashup to Mindmaps that anyone can do and take advantage of:

Add Microsoft Tags

If you put a MS tag image on your mindmap you can snap the tag with your mobile (whether the map is online or printed out) and be taken somewhere, get stuff etc.

Try it. It's easy.

Thanks Marco.

Torgrim,
Yes, this is about seeing your tasks in context with the rest of the information in your map. The ability to drag individual tasks into a map would make this more powerful as you'd be able to take advantage of the mapping capabilities to add meta data to your task links. Your recommendations are great, I'm looking for ways to fully leverage what exists today while exploring the possibilities of deeper, more meaningful integrations.

Thanks for your feedback!

Hi,

Thank you for your tip, but is this not just linking to a webpage and showing the webpage in MindManager?
Sorry, but I dont see the fuzz about this, or are there any interaction between MindManager and Remember the Milk?

(Eg. MindManager pop-up reminders for RTM tasks, being able to use MindManager Powerfilter to sort out RTM tasks, visualise tasks in MindManager, etc.).

Have a nice day!

There is a fully featured tool out on the web called MindReader (www.activityowner.com) you should really check out if you're at all interested to keep your activities in MindMaps. It also includes a Tool in Outlook that lets you do something similar to what you're doing above.

For me, MindReader and Outlinker are the killer app for MindManager - I've so far processed about 15000 messages and I have full overview of all my commitments and other people commitments to me. And they're free too!

I'm not an affiliate of the AO website - but trust me: you should check them out!
