Here’s your chance to map a plan to end world poverty and walk away with $5,000

The World Mind Network, and its affiliate Friends Beyond Borders, are inviting you to submit a mind map of how you’d best address the problem of World Poverty. The contest runs from now until December 31, with the grand prize of $5,000 for the best map to be awarded on January 15, 2009.

The World Mind Network is a site that gives you a virtual tour back into the world’s history and has partnered recently with several non-profits to improve the human experience. The Network asks the question: "How can Web communications address major world problems with something like the efficiency of a vast biological brain?"
