To our valued customers,

I’m excited….and honored to officially announce Mindjet MindManager 7!

This latest version of MindManager is by far the most powerful and comprehensive release we have delivered not only in the history of our company, but in the industry.
Thank you for your support!  This new version of MindManager was based on usability studies and extensive customer research.  What we have achieved with this new version could not have been possible without your input, critiques and suggestions.  Customer input was our top priority and our inspiration behind this new MindManager!  I’d like to thank you once again for your involvement in helping make this product the best on the planet (at least in my humble opinion)!

As you begin to experience MindManager 7 for yourself, all of us at Mindjet expect this latest version will make it easier to get the results you want.  The new UI replaces traditional menus and toolbars found in previous releases of MindManager with a results-oriented design that will enable you to focus on what you want to do rather than how to do it.  The new MindManager will help organize and more effectively present the tools and capabilities you need.  Our goal is that those using the new release will find it easier to quickly discover and use more of the capabilities that MindManager has to offer, enabling you to work at your best!

MindManager 7 is available on the Microsoft Windows platform (MindManager Pro 7 and MindManager 7 Lite) as well as the Apple Macintosh platform (MindManager 7 Mac).  For a limited time, customers who purchase MindManager 7 will also receive a free Mindjet Project Management Jet Pack™, created specifically for individuals and project teams to kick start requirements gathering, project planning, status reviews and the creation of dashboards and project performance management. The Jet Pack includes 35 exclusive Map templates and a whitepaper.   All of these products will be available to ship on May 30th.

I invite you to take a look at http://www.mindjet.com/us/getmm7/ to see the new look and features. We’d love to hear what you think!
On behalf of all of us at Mindjet, we’d like to say thank you again for your continued interest and support of our MindManager products.

Warmest Regards,
Scott Raskin,
Mindjet Corporation

I purchased MM6 Pro within the last month. There was no obvious indication (from your website or resellers) that MM7 was about to be released (I might have waited for it!). Like the previous posts the information available for existing customers is ambiguous at best – I hope that we get a good incentive so that we continue to promote this excellent software. Some of my students have purchased MM6 Pro within the last month and may now be suspicious of my motives and it would be a shame if this afected my reputation!! In short – how do existing MM6 Pro customers upgrade and at what cost?

Great knowing that the technocrats are working around the clock to see that we have the best..

How frustrating! I was very excited to read this announcement and follwowed the link. But there is no place to look at the “new look and features” – or it is well hidden. Upgrade pricing for MM6 users is a secret, as it th eprice for Lite.

I look forward to seeing some video demos of the product on the website soon. Mindjet has historically done a very good job of putting these together and I think this would help ‘visualize’ this latest MindManger version.

    Where’s pricing info on Lite?

Where are feature comparisons between Lite and Pro?

Also, there is absolutely no detail about what version 7.0 offers over 6.0 Pro on the current site. I get back a 3 hours a week… how is that any different? etc…

Hopefully something will be posted soon with a feature comparison. I don’t think your current customers can really get excited until it is.

Great news! However, your website url is unclear what it is that we current MM6Pro users have to do to upgrade. The purchase options discussed talk about upgrade “to” MM6. How about your current users? I hope that this is just an oversight, and am looking forward to viewing/using the new release.
