We got a great story today in the Hollywood Reporter! Who would ever think! We do know that there are studios and even some very famous actors (sorry, can’t name names) who use MindManager. But the latest Tech Reporter column from Hollywood Reporter columnist Chris Marlowe profiles how Joel Rasmussen used MindManager 6 Mac to manage all the aspects of creating "Before the Music Dies." I have only seen the trailer, but it looks like a great film. It includes interviews with Eric Clapton, Erykah Badu, Doyle Bramhall II, David Hidalgo of Los Lobos, Branford Marsalis, Les Paul, Michael Penn, Bonnie Raitt, Widespread Panic, R.E.M. manager Bertis Downs and more.
"We have one big map that’s the overall story, then we break that down into acts," Rasmussen says. "There’s a linked-in map for the whole trip of a production team in San Francisco and for preproduction, production, postproduction and distribution. I couldn’t do what I do without it."
