Sketches from the Blogosphere
It was a blog & buzz-intensive year for Mindjet! Here are some noteworthy recent posts I came across while browsing through the Mindjet BlogRoll:
Richard A.D. Jones mentions MindManager in his “marketing lessons for software companies,” fortunately referring to our trial version as marketing that works (thanks!).Eric Mack writes about his campaign for MindManager’s integration with Lotus Notes.
G. Sarigiannidis discovers that he can use MindManager as a news reader and offers a map with his “blogs of interest”
Rob Fahrni is excited about Mindjet embracing OPML.
Ciaran Foley gives a detailed account of how he used MindManager to help a client and why it became his “de facto note taking tool for any meeting in which I anticipate a great deal of strategic discussion, planning, analysis or creative brainstorming to take place.
Gary Slinger describes how MindManager maps can be used as “task force templates:” “To me, a “Taskforce” meeting is one where a variety of folks are called together, and told to “fix that problem”, whatever that particular problem may be. I’ve just been asked to form such a group, to address an application performance issue at work, and in setting up the meeting, I brought together a number of my current notes and templates into a single MindManager template, for re-use.”
Last, but not least, do you know Squidoo (“Everyone is an expert on something”)? There are already some MindManager “lenses” you can try on:
