    Dear Gaelen:
I am a PhD student of Biological Sciences (Comahue University, Argentina) specialized in native forest ecosystems growing in Patagonia. Three years ago, after a long search for software that help me to organize the huge amount of data files, ideas, emails, papers…..etc., all originated from my studies I found MM. The implementation of MM for my daily work had great impacts and changed my way of work since that. One of the things that I really appreciated in that moment was that it relieved me from a mental stress, just in the very moment to write down my PhD thesis, originated in the concern to manage all the stuff I had in my head. MM helped me to remember where I stored a specific data file, or from what scientific paper I took some notes or even which computer code file to processes tree data it was the final version. I need to recognize that MM has a lot of functionalities for what I’m decided to purchase a license but the one the convinced me was its MSWord exporting capabilities. That let me to organize the entire structure of the thesis (the big picture) an at the same time to get identified from what data file I created every figure (the detail), with the confidence that at every moment and one click away I could generate a draft of my works in .doc format. The best of all was that I changed many ways my ideas about my thesis and that all the work done was not discharged at all. Nowadays from write a scientific paper or proposal, an internal report or just to organize my ideas I start from MindManager with the certainty that I will get the best work I can done, and the amazing chance to track all back even after a long time.
