As nice as this is it isn’t going to get me to go back to IE. I’ve installed it but I’m really waiting for something that runs in Firefox.

  2. I tested the viewer this evening and was very happy. So there are many new possibilities – like store mindmaps on sharepoint server and have a look for all users or for my project “integration mindmanager with ELO office (a digital archive system).

  3. Alan says:

Yes, Firefox, please … our entire office uses FF and not IE.

    Otherwise, excellent.

  4. I tried the Viewer at work and got the following message: Windows has blocked this software because it can’t verify the publisher.

    Hi Jiri,
Next Tuesday will have news regarding the new Mindjet MindManager Pro 6 and Excel! Until them, our lips are sealed! :>)

  6. Jiri Cihar says:

    Well done, folks!

I have been playing with viewer since yesterday and have to say it is undoubtedly the breakthrough.
Some minor bugs I reported yesterday – sometimes there is not horizontal rule and it seems to me that command “Open in New Window” does not work.
What i would very appreciate (because my web is dedicated to Excel) were “marriage” with this spreadsheet. Will I be suprised in this way after 6th version will be released?

    My best regards

    Hi Dick,
Once you install the viewer, it will engage whenever you click on a map that is designed to be viewed by the viewer. Visit the Mindjet Map Gallery at http://www.mindjet.com/us/company/press_center/sample_maps.php?s=3&sn=10 and click on one of the maps. If your viewer is installed correctly, instead of seeing a static map, you will be able to move around the map (hold down the cursor and drag the “hand” around, open and close map branches by clicking on the + or – sign, and click on icons to go to attached web sites or documents. Give it a try and let us know if you have any problems! And thanks for visiting us.
    Thanks

  11. Very nice tool, I like it and will set up my Demo-Maps (that I made for the german Mindjet-Forum) accordingly.

I found a minor bug and reported it already.

Thanks, Aniruddha. If you have any feedback please send it on to beat@mindjet.com (and, of course, you are more than welcome to comment about it here or blog about it elsewhere!).

  13. Aniruddha says:

Wow, that is far out. I’ve been hoping for something like this for a while. It’s a pity it doesn’t run in FireFox. I’ll play with it and see what happens.

  14. Great news! Something I was really waiting for (and hopefully many more users) ;-)
Hope this will boost attention towards MindManager as well!
